8 Things Every Happy Woman Should Have
I must admit that I was inspired by this article and then by this fun post, so I thought I'd share my eight things.
1. A go-to drink: I have to admit that I'm usually a chardonnay kind of gal, but when I'm feeling fancy it's a French 75 all the way.
2. A go to karaoke song: Nancy Sinatra "These Boots Were Made for Walking"
3. A uniform: Skinny jeans, striped shirt, biker jacket, and either moccasins or wedges. Make-up wise I'm all about a cat eye, major lashes, rosy cheeks, and a neutral lip.
4. A hair stylist they love: Lookin' at you Mike Page.
5. An exercise routine: Lately it's been Tracy Anderson or yoga in the morning along with a LOT of brisk walking.
6. A hobby: Well, I blog. :-) Umm, does shopping count? I also journal and draw or paint occasionally.
7. A best friend: I'm blessed to have many amazing friends in my life - you know who you are and I cherish you.
8. A healthy sense of self: Well this is a work in progress, but I think I'm getting there. When I think of where I was at 19 compared to where I am at 29 - leaps and bounds my friends. I might not be fully evolved just yet, but I like myself and am feeling more comfortable in my own ski every year.

I don't sing karaoke, so this may be easily subtracted from my list :-)
ReplyDeleteI sometimes do my yoga exercises in the morning as well, but I feel like I can't give it my all that early in the day. When I do them later in the day my muscles are more warmed up and stretched, just by basically doing normal things, and I notice that I can go way deeper and further with my yoga then
