Aren't these gilded wishbones quirky and lovely? If you dedicated yourself to roasting a lot of chickens before Thanksgiving, this would be a pretty simply holiday DIY. You'd just need to roast and consume said chickens, save and clean the wish bones, let dry out for a few days, then spray paint gold. Boom! Weird and lovely golden wishbones to use in your holiday table scape, or for whatever your heart desires.
