I've been thinking a lot about this quote lately. I think it beautifully describes how the hubs and I came to be. It wasn't a firecracker that brought us together, just the realization that that's what we both wanted. acquaintance->friends->lovers->partners. A smolder more than an explosion. At least that's how it was for me; if you ask the hubs he might say that was his plan all along. ;-)
How about you? Are you all about the explosion or the slow smolder in a relationship?
A good quote! I think any relationship, no matter how fiery in the begging, will become softer with time. That is not a bad thing!
